what does it mean? I am hopefully flying into Langley, VA and don't recall it being a departure point, but wouldn't all (--) cover it? seems all the departure points I have used (albeit listed ones) accept the email and log me into the system with that. can't figure why others wouldn't. what happens when a listed one manually enters me into the system when I show up and present the email signup? do they somehow check it against their incoming email, and only then enter it when they find my original (actually takeahop's) email, in their system??

Not quite sure what you're meaning here, but let's see what we can do with what I do understand. You say you're "flying into Langley, VA". Well, if you're already on the plane, then the place you took off from is your departure point.
When you choose departure points on Takeahop, e-mails are generated and sent to THOSE aerial terminals only. Other bases should never sign you up using a signup e-mail that was sent to a different base. You ask: "what happens when a listed one manually enters me into the system when I show up and present the email signup?". Well, if they're doing their job, they should enter you into the system with that signup date ONLY if the e-mail was addressed specifically to their location.
"Do they somehow check it against their incoming email...?" Some locations do, indeed. They take the date and time from the e-mail and check their incoming e-mail folders, or they search their e-mail by name. To anyone reading this, don't even think about bringing a forged e-mail signup to a terminal. You could literally be
banned for life from using your space-a benefit. (I'm certainly not saying that you would, Gary. This statement goes out to all of those who might be reading this post.)
Your country choices should be where you state your general destination goals--the country or countries that you hope a direct flight will be available for. It's there that you can list "ALL".
If this answers your questions, great. If not, please swing over to
Dirk Pepperd's Space A Message Board and we can hammer it out further and hopefully clear up your questions.
